“Sadari” or “Shatagopam” or “Shatari” refers to the Golden, Silver, Brass or Copper crown replica of Lord Vishnu with his Lotus Feet symbols mounted or engraved on top of the crown.
Sri Shatari, we can find the thiruvadis (two feet at the top of the Shatari), which are said to be the feet of Srman Narayanan and this says that Sri Nammalwar is holding the Thiruvadi of Sriman Narayanan on his head.
Devotees should bow to get the Sadari on our head. And this is the regular custom that is followed in every Vaishnavite Temples.
