Rama is one of the many popular figures and deities in Hinduism, specifically Vaishnavism and Vaishnava religious scriptures in South and Southeast Asia.Along with Krishna, Rama is considered to be one of the most important avatars of Vishnu. In a few Rama-centric sects, he is considered the Supreme Being, rather than an avatar.

sita : Sita is the central female character of the Hindu epic Ramayana. She is the consort of the Hindu god Rama and is an avatar of Lakshmi, goddess of wealth and wife of Vishnu. She is esteemed as a paragon of spousal and feminine virtues for all Hindu women.Sita is known for her dedication, self-sacrifice, courage and purity.

Lakshman : Lakshmana is the younger brother and close companion of the god Rama. According to the Ramayana, Lakshmana is one quarter component of manifest Vishnu. Lakshmana was highly skilled in the science of archery and could loose five hundred arrows in one shot. Lakshmana is considered to be an avatar of Shesha, the serpent associated with Vishnu.

Hanuman : Hanuman is a Hindu god and an ardent devotee of Rama. He is a central character in the Hindu epic Ramayana and its various versions. He is also mentioned in several other texts, including Mahabharata, the various Puranas and some Jain texts. A vanara, Hanuman participated in Rama's war against the demon king Ravana. Several texts also present him as an incarnation of Lord Shiva. He is the son of Anjana and Kesari, and is also described as the son of Vayu, who according to several stories, played a role in his birth.
